The latest SAIM software release, version 22-1, focuses on user roles, permissions and custom task creation.
Importantly, it provides an updated code and cybersecurity infrastructure to help prevent unauthorized entry into the SAIM platform.

Viewing and recording maintenance & inspection
tasks on the SAIM Inspect app integrated
with the SAIM Tank Farm Manager module.
The update also empowers administrators with new features, such as the ability to:
- View and update facility information as changes occur
- Create new user roles and/or customize the permissions of roles within a facility
- Assign specific permissions across a whole group of employees or customize per position or facility
- Submit a new user request directly from within SAIM, without the need to email or call the site Client Success Manager
- Add Inspectors and their Certifications in a more simplified way
Contact your Client Success Manager (CSM) for more information on roles and permissions. Training will be available on the SAIM Support Portal and in your upcoming CSM calls.
The latest release also gives users the ability to create custom tasks within Tank Farm Manager and find what they need quicker with new "filter," "export" and "column" selection screens for all task creation windows.
- A more simplified process allows a Lead Inspector and/or designated roles to easily set up new tasks to be created on schedule from the "Facility Specific Templates" or "SAIM Templates" database without needing to contact their CSM.
- Has the facility added a new pump or other piece of equipment? You can now create tasks to assign to the latest equipment using the universal O&M SAIM task templates or customize within your facility-specific task templates to designate the asset, inspector and planned maintenance required.
